A Milwaukee teenager was sentenced Thursday, July 23, 2026, for a chaotic parking lot shootout last year that claimed the life of a 19-year-old nursing student and rattled an entire neighborhood. The judge ordered a 12-year prison term, to be followed by eight years of extended supervision, in a case that also left multiple teenagers wounded.
Eighteen-year-old Earl Williams received 12 years in prison and eight years of extended supervision, according to CBS58. Emotions ran high in the courtroom as prosecutors revisited the violence of the June 2025 shooting and its impact on the victim’s family.
The Shootout and the Scene
The gunfire broke out on June 20, 2025, near the old Northridge Mall, where investigators later found clusters of bullet casings scattered across the parking lot. Detectives recovered about 110 casings and determined that shots were fired from 11 different firearms. Prosecutors described the barrage as a “wild-west” style shootout that left two teens dead and three others wounded, as reported by FOX6.
