22-year-old sentenced to prison in connection with deadly Old Town shooting

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to prison following a deadly Wichita shooting that took place on Labor Day in 2025.

On Friday, Lafayette Washington was sentenced to 19 years and nine months in prison, followed by three years of post-release supervision.
