EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – A suspected cocaine dealer in Evansville is now behind bars following a search warrant of an apartment.
According to an affidavit, investigators with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force executed the search warrant at an apartment on Negley Avenue.
Edward Martin was found in the bedroom, and the following items were recovered:
- Locked safe in living room behind couch: 432 grams of field-tested cocaine
- Shelf above kitchen sink: black digital scale, nitrile gloves
- In Entertainment Center in Martin bedroom: Silver digital scale
- In trash bag on Martin bedroom door: Torn sandwich bags
- Documents bearing the name “Edward Martin”: Throughout the house
- In clear tote in living room: 998 grams of an unknown substance
- Martin bedroom: Black smartphone
Martin was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $30,000 bond…
