EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Easterseals Rehabilitation Center officials announced the results of their annual “Cool Car, Cold Cash” raffle on Friday, saying the fundraiser brought in an estimated $66,762 in net proceeds to support services for children and adults with disabilities across the Tri-State.
The grand prize drawing was held July 24 at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center at 3701 Bellemeade Ave. Easterseals said 2,749 tickets were included in the drawing — 2,729 sold and 20 awarded as sales incentive prizes. Tickets were sold from May 20 through July 22 for $50 each or three for $100.
Easterseals said the proceeds will help the nonprofit provide core services — including physical, occupational and speech therapy, audiology and psychology — regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
