WT launches new advanced nursing programs to strengthen rural healthcare

CANYON, Texas (KFDA) – West Texas A&M University is expanding nursing education with two advanced programs aimed at strengthening rural healthcare and addressing workforce shortages across the Texas Panhandle.

The university announced enrollment is now open for its new Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, the first of its kind in the Panhandle and WT’s third doctoral program.
