WASHINGTON (7News) — A 5-year-old boy is seriously hurt after a speeding driver hit him while he was riding on a scooter in Southeast D.C. and fled the scene, police said.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Ridgecrest Court, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
