The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the driver who struck and critically injured a 74-year-old Beaverton man riding a bicycle at NW West Union Road and NW Neakahnie Avenue just after 4 p.m. on Friday, July 24.
According to a press release, the driver hit the cyclist while turning left and subsequently fled south on NW Neakahnie Avenue.
“During the collision, the side mirror of the SUV broke off and was found at the scene. Deputies used that mirror to identify the suspect vehicle as a gray 2011 to 2015 Ford Edge,” the press release said…
