Montgomery County is getting a new home for Mexican cuisine. Paperwork shows that a concept called El Metate is planning to open in Wheaton and has applied for a liquor license at the location.
El Metate has applied to open at 2302-2304 Price Avenue. The restaurant has submitted an application for a New Class B, Beer, Wine & Liquor License with the Board of License Commissioners for Montgomery County.
El Metate is something of a mystery; the concept does not have a digital footprint at all, so all of the information available about the eatery comes from its liquor license application.
