CHICAGO (WGN) — A night of violence in Chicago left communities shaken Sunday morning after three people were killed and at least 14 others were wounded in a series of shootings across the city.
The first deadly shooting happened in the Roseland neighborhood, where police said a gunman opened fire into a crowd gathered outside just before 1 a.m. in the 10400 block of South Michigan Avenue.
A 20-year-old woman was shot and is expected to survive. A 24-year-old woman was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she later died.
