GOLDEN, Colo. (KDVR) — The Denver metro area remained under a heat advisory Sunday as temperatures climbed into the triple digits, sending many people to Clear Creek in Golden to cool off.
Clear Creek was packed with tubers looking for relief from the scorching temperatures.
“Nice and refreshing,” tuber Zachary Fincham said. “You want to jump in on these kind of days, that’s the nice part. Too bad it’s too shallow. You’re basically just floundering on rocks. But it’s fun.”…
