Denver music fans packed the city’s streets and music venues despite a record-breaking heat wave to support Colorado musicians as two festivals featuring hundreds of local artists transformed neighborhoods into dance parties.
Blucifer’s First Rodeo, a new four-day festival organized by local artists, made its debut on South Broadway, while the Underground Music Showcase returned in a new home at the River North Art District. Together, the festivals brought more than 400 Colorado performers to venues throughout Denver.
