MONROE, N.C. (WBTV) – A man is accused of trafficking 11.5 pounds of fentanyl through Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Records show Daniel Farfan was arrested Friday, July 24, in Union County. He was given a $1 million bond and charged with two counts of trafficking opium or heroin, along with felony maintaining a dwelling for the use, storage, or sale of a controlled substance.

Deputies said they received information that Farfan was transporting “large quantities” of narcotics from Los Angeles through Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
