CARLISLE, OH — When students at Carlisle return to school for the 2026-2027 school year, they will be greeted by three major staff changes.
NEW SUPERINTENDENT
Mike Milner, who has been a part of the Carlisle School District for 31 years, has moved from being a school principal in the district to its superintendent. When starting out in the district, Milner was a classroom teacher and coach. He moved from being a teacher to assistant principal before moving to his most recently position, principal in the district’s elementary school.
“I am humbled and honored to move into the role of superintendent for the 2026-2027 school year,” Milner explained, noting that his many years of working with the students, staff and families, as well as being active in the Carlsile community as a whole, has provided him with a deep understanding of the district’s strengths and the important role the school plays throughout the community…
