An equestrian hospital in Ocala is requesting a one-year extension from county officials to move forward with a major facility expansion at its campus in northwest Marion County.
The request is scheduled to be presented to the Marion County Planning and Zoning Commission during its regular meeting on Monday, July 27.
Engineering firm Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., acting on behalf of Ocala Equine Hospital, submitted the extension request on July 21 for the 14-acre property located at 10835 N US Hwy 27.
