SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A piece of sheet metal fell from the ceiling of the West Fayette Street parking garage in Syracuse and struck someone’s car, according to Syracuse Police.
The owner said they left the car on the first floor of the parking garage for a few hours before discovering the fallen piece of sheet metal and debris.
Sergeant Thomas Blake with the Syracuse Police Department said police responded around 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, to the vehicle.
The driver said the damage was mostly cosmetic, but the piece of sheet metal nearly missed the windshield of the car. They said the damage is mostly to the roof and hood of the car…
