SKANEATELES, N.Y. — Families gathered Sunday at the Skaneateles Polo Club for the ninth annual Polo for Preemies event, raising money to support the neonatal intensive care unit at Crouse Health.
While the event featured polo, family activities and other entertainment, organizers said the day was ultimately about supporting some of the hospital’s smallest patients.
Interim executive director of the Crouse Health Foundation, Gracie Thorpe said “We’re going to have some of our NICU graduates and some of our incredible staff of our NICU join us out on the field today to really remind us all for why we are here today, which is to raise critical funds for our NICU here at Crouse Hospital.”…
