Fire crews investigating blaze that spread through Bryant hotel

BRYANT, Ark. — Fire crews remained on the scene Sunday night after a fire broke out at the La Quinta hotel on Commerce Road in Bryant.

The Bryant Fire Department responded to the structure fire shortly after 4 p.m. and immediately began evacuating the building. Officials said no injuries had been reported as crews continued battling the blaze for several hours.

According to Stuart Duke, deputy director of Saline County Emergency Management, the fire spread to all four floors of the hotel, with the heaviest fire conditions reported on the fourth floor.
