LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — While the Las Vegas valley was under an extreme heat warning over the weekend, Search and Rescue saved several hikers suffering from heat exhaustion.
On Sunday, July 26, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue team on board the AIR1 helicopter conducted two rescues in the afternoon.

“Another busy and hot Sunday for the team,” Search and Rescue said on social media.
The first rescue operation happened around noon on Sunday, when the helicopter team responded to Frenchman Mountain to save two hikers who were suffering from heat exhaustion…
