A semi-truck driver, Irabaruta Ezechiel, was allegedly driving under the influence last week when he crashed into nine other vehicles at 12th and Myrtle. Ezechiel faces 22 charges, including driving under the influence and has a history of prior alcohol-related driving offenses, according to court records.
Police said Ezechiel failed to stop his semi-truck at a red light, causing the 10-vehicle wreck. This incident was not Ezechiel’s first encounter with such charges.
