A familiar name to high-performance marine industry veterans, Tim Gallagher quietly opened the doors of Straight Arrow Marine in Fort Myers, Fla., at the beginning of this month. The newest dealer for MTI, which Gallagher has represented for much of his career, Straight Arrow Marine is a “full-service performance boating operation offering specialized sales, service, storage, transportation and concierge support to high performance boat owners throughout Southwest Florida.”
Gallagher announced the news in a press release this afternoon. According to the release, Straight Arrow Marine is “designed to simplify every aspect of performance boat ownership.” In addition to its dealership role with MTI, the company will access to regional customers for authorized service.
A Southwest Florida native with more than 12 years of experience in the marine industry Connor Smith also is on the Straight Arrow Marine team. He is a member of the MTI Support Program, a Mercury/Mercury Racing-certified Technician and a United States Coast Guard master captain, Smith strengthens Straight Arrow Marine with factory-level support and technical knowledge across many of the industry’s leading performance boat manufacturers.
“As we continue to grow our MTI family we look forward to partnering with Straight Arrow Marine and the extraordinary service they offer customers,” Randy Scism, the founder of Wenztville, Mo.-based MTI, in the release. “Connor Smith is a great addition to the team with a strong background of working with the brand. Tim Gallagher has been involved with MTI for many years and we are excited for the expansion in Fort Myers.”
