Thirsty balcony burglar hits Miami Beach hotel rooms, manages to only steal apple juice, cops say

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A man scaled a Miami Beach hotel and tried to enter four rooms through the balconies early Sunday morning, police say. They say the thirsty thief was successful twice, but only managed to steal two containers of apple juice before being caught.

According to the Miami Beach Police Department, the burglaries happened at around 4:15 a.m. at the Eden Roc Miami Beach, located at 4525 Collins Ave. in the Mid-Beach area.

Police said hotel staff called police to alert them that Patrick Lee Bryant, who “had previously been arrested” there, was back and “attempting to gain unauthorized access to guest rooms.”…
