Firefighter traveled 800 miles to attend a college graduation
Alan Kent, a retired firefighter, responded to a medical call in Colorado Springs in 2004, where he found a woman named Stacy Huddle about to give birth to her daughter, Chloe.
“We heard Stacy upstairs screaming. I was like, I think we’re going to have a baby,” Alan said.
Since then, Chloe has celebrated her birthdays at the fire station. And this year for her graduation, Alan traveled around 800 miles to watch her receive her degree in educational studies.
