RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Students at four elementary schools in Richmond Public Schools (RPS) are back hitting the books for the first day of school on Monday as part of the “RPS 200” schedule.
The RPS 200 is an extended school program in which students at Oak Grove-Bellemeade, Cardinal, Fairfield Court and Woodville elementary schools attend 200 days of school during the academic year, instead of 180 like most of their peers.
