SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Fire Department responded to two fires that displaced nine people in total within 12 hours of each other.
The first call came in around 5:37 p.m. on July 26. Syracuse Firefighters were dispatched to 939 Emerson Ave. and found a two-story home on fire. Crews found a large volume of fire on the outside of the home. The fire was extending onto a neighboring house.
The fire was brought under control in 15 minutes and declared fully extinguished in 40 minutes…
