NYS DOT seeks input from Clay-area residents on ways to accommodate Micron traffic

Residents in the Clay area can weigh in Thursday on how the state can manage the growth of traffic as a result of the Micron project. It’s called “Central New York Forward” and includes routes 31 and 11, as well as the interchanges of route 31 with I-81 and 481.

The state department of transportation is gathering input about improving traffic flow, reducing truck traffic on residential streets, and adding features for bikers and pedestrians.

The meetings take place this Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clay Town Hall…
