MADISON, Miss. (WJTV) – A family-owned snack business based in Germany will expand upon an existing cookie factory in Madison.
Announced on July 27, 2026, Greisson-De Beukelaer Company (DBC) has acquired the U.S. based Peter De Beukelaer Baking Company known for producing Pirouline cookies at their baking facility in Madison.

The company plans to expand upon the Madison facility’s existing infrastructure to include more products in their lineup by expanding automation on their production lines while retaining workers already employed at the Madison factory.
“Our goal has always been the same; We have been growing for the last 18 years,” said Herwig Debeukelaer, COO of De Beukelaer. “We have added in automation, and we’ve always worked hard and gotten lucky to where we get to move people into different positions.”…
