ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday near the Old Post Office building at Locust Street and 9th Street in downtown St. Louis. The victim’s condition has not been confirmed.
Police said the victim ran to a nearby officer for help after being stabbed. The stabbing occurred steps away from the Mark Twain Hotel on 9th Street. Photos sent to investigators showed a large section of sidewalk stained with what appeared to be blood near the downtown Schnucks.
