The Storey County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) issued a shelter-in-place order for Lockwood residents due to an escaped convict in the area. The order was announced around 2 p.m. on July 27.
Residents are asked to remain indoors until further notice. Authorities say you should not open your doors for anyone unless instructed to do so by law enforcement.
