SPOKANE, Wash. – A 57-year-old Spokane man was sentenced to 31-and-a-half years in prison on Friday for repeatedly raping two girls under the age of 15 at gunpoint, according to a press release from the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The Spokane County Prosecutor’s office said that the case was a result of multiple incidents in North-Central Spokane at a home where the two girls, who are cousins, lived with family members including a grandmother. Anthony L. Hampton, the grandmother’s boyfriend, also lived in the home and rape the victims “numerous times” starting when each was 13 years old. The ongoing sexual abuse took place between March 2023 and March 2025. Hampton was arrested after the children told family members what had happened.
