Schenectady, NY (WRGB) — A recommendation to implement New York’s Good Cause Eviction protections in Schenectady drew criticism from landlords and property owners.
On July 9th, the Schenectady Housing Stability Task Force outlined their recommendations to improve housing in Schenectady, which included adopting the ‘Good Cause eviction law,’ which was initially struck down by the Schenectady City Council in 2025.
