On July 25, Birmingham’s WVTM 13, owned by Hearst Television, announced they’re expanding to include CBS programming starting on August 1.
In 1949, WVTM first went on the air with a mix of programs from ABC and CBS. After decades of ownership changes, Nexstar and Paramount Skydance reached an agreement this July to once again take over CBS programming.
But don’t worry! Nothing will change with the current WVTM 13 channel. All NBC programming, local newscasts and weather will stay on the channel…
