COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead after a crash involving a FedEx semi in western Franklin County Tuesday morning.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just before 7 a.m. on U.S. Route 40 outside of Columbus. A FedEx semi was going east on US 40 and navigating a turn onto Alton Darby Creek Road in front of a Ford going west on US 40.
The Ford crashed into the passenger side of the semi and fell into a ditch. The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:05 a.m. The driver of the semi was hospitalized in an unknown condition, per the FCSO…
