FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne Community Schools is rolling out a series of transportation changes before the start of the school year on Aug. 12, including a new approach to bus driver shortages and a planned app for parents to track buses.
Toward the end of the last school year, FWCS alternated schools to remote learning days due to a shortage of bus drivers. District leaders said that will be avoided in the future, following feedback from schools and parents.
