A man was shot early Monday on Hollywood Boulevard near Ivar Avenue and rushed to a hospital, according to police. The gunfire broke out in the pre-dawn hours, startling people in the area and leaving the victim wounded in what witnesses described as a sudden volley of shots. Emergency crews took the man by ambulance, and he was later reported to be in stable condition.
What Police Said
According to MyNewsLA, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman told City News Service the shooting happened at about 2:15 a.m. She said two male suspects walked up to the victim, opened fire, then took off before officers arrived. Paramedics transported the man to a hospital, where he was reported to have stable vital signs.
