CNY Inspirations: Sand, sunburns and staying human

Here we are, halfway through the summer and I’m reminded that true joy is often wildly inconvenient.

At the beach this week I spent half the day trying to get sand out of places sand should never be, left the beach looking like a breaded chicken cutlet, only to discover I somehow missed one stubborn patch of sunscreen that’s now glowing the color of a ripe tomato. I will be vacuuming up tiny grains of “vacation” out of my car until October…
