An Eldridge couple was seriously injured Friday afternoon after their motorcycle collided with a deer on a Wisconsin highway, resulting in both riders being airlifted to a trauma hospital.
A Scary Motorcycle Accident
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash at approximately 3:43 p.m. on Highway 133 in Waterloo Township.
Police say the couple was traveling south on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a deer suddenly entered the roadway. The impact caused the motorcycle to go down and slide roughly 75 yards. Both riders were thrown from the bike.
Authorities said neither the man nor the woman was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
