LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The city of Las Vegas announced Tuesday it was adding crossing guards at five high schools for the upcoming school year.
According to a release from the city, crossing guards will now be at Bonanza, Centennial, Desert Pines, Shadow Ridge, and Western high schools starting on Aug. 10, when the new school year begins.

Those schools will join Arbor View, Cimarron-Memorial, Clark and Palo Verde high schools as schools in the city of Las Vegas with crossing guards.
