Chautauqua County’s top cop believes last week’s directive to a dozen law enforcement agencies in New York to end their 287(g) agreements with ICE goes too far. Sheriff Jim Quattrone, who was a guest on WDOE’s “Viewpoint” program this morning, spoke about the letters that Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James sent to those departments, the first enforcement action under the Office of the Attorney General’s (OAG) new Office of Immigrant Trust.
