GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Another inmate from Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility has died.
A 69-year-old woman named Dasie Forbes died last week, the prison announced. It makes her the fifth inmate from WHV to have passed away since mid-May.
The Michigan Department of Corrections says Forbes was hospitalized on July 11 with “multiple chronic, complex, life-limiting illnesses” and that she had chosen to enter palliative care treatment back in February…
