MUSCATINE CO., Iowa (KWQC) – A passenger was airlifted to Iowa City on Monday night after a car attempting a U-turn was struck by a truck on Highway 61.
According to an Iowa State Patrol report, a Hyundai Ascent was northbound on the highway when the driver attempted a U-turn. The vehicle was hit on the front passenger side by a southbound Dodge Ram.
The front-seat passenger was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital for treatment. Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance…
