CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The 8th Avenue Bridge over the Cedar River in Cedar Rapids will close overnight Wednesday as crews conduct bridge pile testing for a future replacement project.
The bridge will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, until 5 a.m. Thursday, July 30, between 1st Street SW and 2nd Street SE.
