Norman council to vote on Dr Pepper deal to turn water tower into attraction

NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH) — City leaders in Norman will consider a proposal that turns a local water tower into a tourist attraction.

On Tuesday, the Norman City Council will vote on a contract with Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Inc. for “establishing a long-term tourism, branding, and event-activation partnership.”

The proposal centers around the Lindsey Street water tower and would be part of the brand’s “Fansville” campaign…
