LITTLETON, Colo. (KDVR) — Nearly three years after 13-year-old Liam Stewart was hit and killed while riding his bike to school, a new Colorado law bearing his name is set to take effect on Aug. 12.
Liam was just a block away from Euclid Middle School in Littleton when he was struck and killed in 2023. Now, his family hopes the law inspired by his death will help protect other children walking and biking to school.
