Glimpses of John Lennon’s “lost weekend” will be on display in Lake Oswego in mid-August.
May Pang, who was Lennon’s lover from 1973 to 1975, will showcase the photos at The Lawrence Gallery, 540 N. State St., in Lake Oswego from Aug. 14-16 and will appear the gallery during the exhibition.
“Few people knew John Lennon as intimately as May Pang. Pang was Lennon’s lover during the infamous ‘Lost Weekend’ which lasted 18 months during late 1973 through 1975,” the release said. “During this highly creative time for Lennon, Pang took candid photos of Lennon in a comfortable, relaxed environment.”…
