The University of Michigan’s Central Student Government held a special meeting over Zoom Monday evening to discuss member conduct and introduce an amendment to the CSG constitution.
The proposed amendment, CA 16-005, was the primary focus of the meeting. CA 16-005 would create a formal procedure for removing a current member of the CSG body via a two-thirds majority vote; without the amendment, removals would continue to be handled by the Central Student Judiciary.
The meeting began with community concerns.
