MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. (WROC) – As the 2026-2027 school year approaches, many districts across the Rochester area are actively searching for job applicants to be considered for numerous teaching and support staff positions.
Some districts began recruitment and community outreach earlier this year compared to previous years, including Hilton, as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Ned Dale explained.
“We’ve been recruiting instructional staff since the end of February,” Dale said. “Believe it or not, we still have two math openings and special education. Both are difficult to fill.”…
