TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — A Chatham County school purchased a new permanent location in advance of its current lease running out.
The Tybee Island Maritime Academy (TIMA) purchased the old Thunderbolt Elementary School in mid-July.
“Knowing that we’re going to have some place that our board can decide what our future looks like, and it’s a permanent location, is really great,” said Peter Ulrich, TIMA’s executive director…
