There was a time when back-to-school shopping wasn’t something you knocked out in a single Target run or with a few clicks online; it was an event.
For a lot of El Paso families, it meant piling into the car, spending the day hopping from store to store, trying on new shoes, picking out the perfect backpack and convincing your parents that you absolutely needed that Trapper Keeper or the folder with your favorite cartoon character on it.
