LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock branch of the American Postal Workers Union held a rally to “Protect Our Postal Service” on Tuesday evening.
The event was held at Singer Station and welcomed the community to stand together in support of the postal service in the face of uncertainty.

Those leading the rally asked Congress to provide investment rather than cutting funding, which will ensure that the service can modernize to fit the needs of society. It also emphasized the importance of voting by mail to “protect American Democracy.”
