ROCKTON, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rockton Police Department is pushing back against allegations made in a series of viral TikTok videos by a Wisconsin man who claims his dog died after being left in a hot police vehicle during a traffic stop in Rockton.
The videos, posted by TikTok user Waldemar Gonzalez, have garnered more than a million views and show Gonzalez recounting the July 27 traffic stop involving his 8-month-old French bulldog, Kody. Gonzalez alleges the dog suffered heat stroke and later died after being detained alongside him during the stop.
